Patrick Le Galès is Research Director at the Centre d’Études Européennes / Sciences Po.
Prior to joining the Centre d’Études Européennes in 2009, he was a Research Fellow at the CEVIPOF and at the Observatoire Sociologique du Changement at Sciences Po Paris, a CNRS Research Fellow and Assistant Professor at CRAPE/IEP Rennes for five years, and a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence (Schuman Centre). He has been a visiting professor at UCLA and at the Universities of Oxford, Salford, Warwick, Venezia and Bicocca Milan. He was a Stein Rokkan Prize winner for his book European Cities, Social Conflicts and Governance, published by OUP in 2002.
