International Center for Business and Politics invites you to
The CBS Jean Monnet European Lectures
European Integration in a theoretical and historical context with a focus on the EU
Mondays from February 4th to June 2nd 2008 kl 15.20-17.10
This series of lectures is organized by the International Center for Business and Politics, CBP, at the Copenhagen Business School. The lectures are addressed to the general public and students at the higher education institutions. The attempt is to analyze the present development of European integration in a theoretical and historical context. The focus is on understanding the European Union as a particular political, economic and cultural entity within an understanding of Europe in a broader context.
The lecturers come from the International Center for Business and Politics and the Center for European Studies at the CBS and represent a wide range of different disciplines, theoretical approaches and national backgrounds. The series thus represents some of the strengths of the differences that constitute Europe in general and the European Union in particular.
The lectures are partly financed by the Jean Monnet Program of the EU.
