For those who have learned basic Chinese in a variety of settings and are interested in developing a career or doing business with Chinese speaking communities.

You can take HSK test Level 4 or Level 5 ("Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi" in Chinese, a standard Chinese proficiency test for non-native speakers) to find out your level of Chinese language before the course begins.

The test is not compulsory, and you do not need to choose your course on the basis of the test result. The test is available online:

Please contact the teacher of this course to create a valid test ID and password for you.

Upon completion of the course, it is hoped that participants’ Chinese vocabulary will be expanded, and they will express themselves fluently with accurate pronounciation; so that they are able to communicate with native Chinese speakers in a business environment, not only with the language skills required, but also equipped with a knowledge of Chinese business culture and economic information.

This is a conversation and application course for students who master an intermediate level of Chinese; we hope to discuss various topics in class through a range of activities including dialogues, questions and answers, short video clips, group activities and role-plays etc.
