This course is for those who have completed the study of Mandarin Chinese Elementary Level 2 - who completed “Chinese Conversation: 301 Sentences" lessons 1-27, who are able to listen and speak basic Chinese and wish to continue their studies. Students who are at a similar level are also welcome.

It is recommended that you take Level 2 of the HSK test ("Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi" in Chinese, a standard Chinese proficiency test for non-native speakers) in order to choose the right class. Passing the test means that you are ready to follow the class "203: Mandarin Chinese Elementary Level 3"; otherwise, you can sign up for "201: Mandarin Chinese Elementary Level 1".

Please contact the teacher of this course to create a valid test ID and password for you.

This is a continued course of Mandarin Chinese Elementary Level 2. We plan to complete lessons 28-35 of textbook “Chinese Conversation: 301 Sentences". In this course, participants will learn expressions to be used in different situations to apologize, praise, congratulate and persuade others; aiming at expanding students’ Chinese vocabulary and to gain a better understanding of Chinese grammar.

Upon completion of the course, participants shall master 165 new words, 16 grammar points and some practical communication skills; and be able to express themselves well.
