My research interest in the field of history is not the past in itself, but how history has been and is still being used in the creation of power, legitimacy and identity. I specifically work within the areas food industry and branding.
Within the food industry my work has been centered around the history of the danish cooperative movement and todays large cooperatives such as Arla.
Until the end of 2012 my research will be focused on the project "National identity, branding, history and the company", where I am looking into how companies and brands at the same time are producers and products of national identities.
