20th century business history and the influence of political developments on the strategies and activities of companies. I have a special interest in the development of multinational Danish construction firms in the 20th century and the cross field between corporate interests and the political development. Particularly interesting in this context is the question of the companies’ handling of uncertainty and political risk. Furthermore I have an interest in the institutional frames which regulate company dispositions at the formal as well as informal level.
Danish foreign policy of the 20th century is also of great interest to me as well as the role Danish companies played on the international market.
Finally I am also interested in the relations between civil servants and politicians in a historical perspective with a special focus on the time of occupancy.
