Associate Professor Stephen Amberg, who has been with the Center for 10 months as Distinguished Fulbright Professor, has returned to his home institution, the University of Texas, San Antonio. Stephen Amberg made great contributions to center research and teaching during his stay and the inspiration he provided will be greatly missed.

The departure of Stephen Amberg brings the three year Fulbright Programme of which the Center has enjoyed the benefit to an end. The Center wishes to express its gratitude to the Fulbright Commission for granting it the Chair for three years and thus providing it with an outstanding opportunity to extend its network with US scholars. Each in their own way, the three Fulbright professors, Richard Millett, Ray Haberski and Stephen Amberg have contributed considerably to the development of the Center.
