CAICT was established by Center Director Professor Jan Damsgaard, Professor Niels Bjørn-Andersen, Professor Janni Nielsen and Associate professor Leif Bloch Rasmussen in the beginning of 2007. Today CAICT consists of about 30 employees. CAICT reports directly to the Dean of Research at CBS.
CAICT wishes to collaborate extensively with business and this is reflected in the mission statement as “co-creating value with ICT through partnering”. CAICT does this via partnering with both private and public organizations. The result is an extended portfolio of national and international research projects.
CAICT has an extended cooperation with Microsoft in Vedbæk, north of Copenhagen, regarding development of the ERP systems of the future. The collaboration with Microsoft has resulted in CAICT being able to fill a Chair within ERP, equally sponsored by CBS and Microsoft.
CAICT is also involved in a range of business educations at CBS and we are currently developing several innovative master degrees in IT leadership and in Business IT.
