Director General of DI joins the Board on 1 July 2011

CBS' Board is pleased to welcome Karsten Dybvad on 1 July.

Karsten Dybvad has worked as permanent secretary in the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister's Office.

Today he is Director General and CEO of DI - the Confederation of Danish Industry - and holds several directorships.

- Karsten's profile is a great supplement to the rest of the Board. When Peter Gorm Hansen retires from the Board at the beginning of 2012, Karsten's experience from the public sector and the political-administrative interaction will be extra valuable. We also placed a lot of focus on his current job with close contact to the business community, says Chairman of the Board Peter Schütze.

Karsten Dybvad is looking forward to working with the other Board members.

- Research and education are crucial to the growth prospects of Denmark, and I have great expectations for the board work at an educational institution, which for many young people is the platform for a career in the corporate sector, he says.
