Folketingets hjemmeside er en central kilde til især det lovforberende arbejde. Der er adgang til lovforslag med bemærkninger, udvalgsbetænkninger samt bilag fra udvalgene, referater af forhandlingerne i salen og de vedtagne love.
Desuden er der generel information om Folketingets arbejde, om ombudsmanden og statsrevisorerne samt udvalg og kommissioner under Folketinget. Der er også adgang til TV-transmissioner fra møder i Folketingssalen.
På Folketingets hjemmeside er der links til EU-oplysningen, partiernes hjemmesider, ministerierne og andre landes parlamenter.

Fra folketingsåret 2009-10 publicerer Folketingstidende.dk de elektroniske dokumenter svarende til den tidligere trykte udgave af Folketingstidende. Det betyder samtidig, at det er Folketingstidende.dk, der nu er den autentiske version eller ”originalversionen”.
De dokumenttyper som f.eks. lovforslag med skriftlige fremsættelser, betænkninger, referater af forhandlingerne i salen, der tidligere indgik i det trykte Folketingstidende (Folketingets forhandlinger samt tillæg A-D) findes nu på folketingstidende.dk. Dertil kommer en række andre dokumenter som aktstykker, forespørgsler, forslag til vedtagelse, redegørelser og lovforslag som optrykt efter 2. behandling. Sidstnævnte er en »arbejdsudgave«, som Folketingets Administration producerer

FED-online indeholder (i fuldtekst) alle domme, kendelser og afgørelser, der har været bragt i Forsikrings- og Erstatningsretlig Domssamling siden 1994 samt:
a. Kendelser fra Ankenævnet for Forsikring: Alle nævnets kendelser fra 1995 og frem ligger fuldtekst i FED. Derudover er der flere tusinde kendelser fra før 1995.
b. Afgørelser inden for sit emne fra Sø- og Handelsretten, Østre og Vestre Landsret, Voldoffernævnet (udvalgte kendelser fra 1974-, samtlige kendelser fra 1995-) og Højesteret.

Retsinformation contains all Danish rules and regulations, i.e. all acts passed by the Folketing (the Danish parliament) as well as statutory orders, circulars etc. issued by the administration. Retsinformation also contains bills and most other documents from the legislative process in the Folketing, e.g. the debates of the Folketing, parliamentary resolutions and proposals for parliamentary resolutions.
