Bloomberg has data on more than 5 million bonds, equities, commodities, currencies and funds. It covers most every publicly traded company in the world, and has profiles on more than a million people.
For CBS students and only by appointment.

Current and historical financial statistics. Covering shares, bonds, interest rates, exchange rates, commodities etc. and financial company information.

WRDS (Wharton Research Data Services) More info ...  
WRDS is a gateway to financial, accounting, banking, economics, management, and marketing data accessible through a single web-based interface. Data is retrieved from multiple resources (databases and data set) such as COMPUSTAT, CRSP and OptionMetrics.
Notice that CBS doesn’t have access to all the WRDS resources.
WRDS is not a trading platform like e.g. Bloomberg but contains data dedicated to the research within the mentioned domains.
Access for CBS students and staff only see how to register under "Hints".
