It is now time for the annual
CBS Case Competition
, a competition between students from leading business schools around the world.
For that reason it is very opportune to publish this guide on how to find case information at CBS Library.
Search for case books in the library opac
If you are looking for books containing actual cases use this search term

in combination with another keyword.
If you are looking for books about the case study method, use this search term
case studies-metode/em
. Books about the case study method can normally be found at Solbjerg Plads under shelf number 303.4 (2. floor).

Cases for teaching purposes
The two main suppliers of cases for use in class teaching are ECCH and Harvard Business Publishing.

: CBS is a member of The European Case Clearing House (ECCH). CBS faculty and staff may search and order cases for use in class. They can also register as users and get access to inspection copies of cases. Read more at the library web site -

: All students can buy electronic access to cases from leading case institutions (incl. Harvard, INSEAD, IMD, Ivey etc.).
