CBS Library Strategy

Vision

CBS Library must at any time work to create as much value as possible for our primary users, i.e. CBS students, lecturers and researchers.
We create value by ensuring that the users have easy access to information and providing relevant library services in order for the users to carry out their studies, their research and their teaching.

Mission

The primary task of CBS Library is to make information and knowledge available in a structured and manageable way.
We are an integral part of CBS and attend to tasks regarding information, learning and dissemination for CBS' students, researchers and lecturers.
Moreover, we are a public library and make information, services and study facilities available for  users other than those affiliated with CBS.

Focus

In our work, CBS Library attends to the highest quality. We ensure the quality by constantly evaluating and developing our qualifications, processes and services.
We create the most possible value for the users. We support value creation by working continuously to streamline our processes and use our resources optimally.
We work innovatively. We are willing to develop and test new products and services to support CBS' strategy with the best and most modern university library.  

Growth

CBS Library must develop and improve the users' access to local, national and global e-archives and e-resources.
We must ensure the information competency at CBS by guiding and teaching students, lecturers and researchers to navigate in a knowledge-intense world.
We must increase the knowledge of CBS' research by registering, analysing and disseminating the published research.
 
The strategy is written in 2012.
