Five Palms for CBS

The palms were not given out in Cannes, but in typical film festival style. CBS has been awarded five palms in a new benchmark study of educational institutions around the world.
100 business schools “ with major international influence" have been awarded five palms, and CBS is the only Danish institution ranked in the same group as Harvard Business School, London Business School, and French INSEAD.
The benchmark has been made by means of recommendations from presidents and deans from 1000 educational institutions worldwide. Eduniversal is the organiser of the ranking.

Quotas and Competences: Diversity in Danish Boards of Directors?

A meeting is arranged by CBS Center for Corporate Governance on 9 June from 16:00-18:00 in Nordea Lecture Hall (SP2.05) at Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg.
Do Danish companies make use of the potential that might emerge from a more diverse composition of board members, e.g. persons with international competences or women? Do companies with a great diversity in their boards manage differently than others? Do we need a statutory quota to determine how many women boards of directors should consist of? Does the diversity aspect even matter when filling the seats on the board of directors?
For registration, please send an email to CBS Center for Corporate Governance ccg@cbs.dk.
