Alumni nyhedsbrev

On Thursday 29 September 2005 CBS hosted the second Alumni Event in a row. 300 CBS alumni in all ages gathered, among other things, to hear this year’s alumni speakers Tue Mantoni, Commercial Director at Triumph Motorcycles in the UK, and Line Rix, partner in the design company 1508 A/S. In addition, the day offered a panel debate with Margrethe Vestager, MP for the Danish Social Liberal Party, as moderator where Bjørn Lomborg, Christian S. Nissen, Henrik Dahl (all Adjunct Professors at CBS) and Lars Kirstein Andersen, Regional Director Scandinavia at B&O, discussed their personal experience with how to act on the global scene. Yet, the largest interest was targeted towards the more than 30 workshops that CBS researchers were in charge of. This provided a rich opportunity to obtain insight into the newest research and exchange business cards with other participants.
Mark your calendar for 2006
We are very pleased with your feedback and we will of course take all comments into consideration when planning next year’s events. Already now you can mark your calendar for 2006, where the Alumni Event will take place on 28 September. The theme is creativity, and we have already booked Martin Krasnik, USA correspondent at Weekendavisen, as moderator. Additionally, you can participate in workshops with CBS researchers as e.g. Anker Brink Lund, Ove Kaj Petersen, Peter Møllgaard and Birgitte Tufte.
We look forward to seeing you again!
