Alumni Newsletter August 2005
A day full of reflection and joy at CBS
Do you dream of starting your own company? Do you aspire to an international top job working with a global brand? Be inspired by this year’s alumni speakers Tue Mantoni and Line Rix.
Tue Mantoni has revitalised the brand Triumph Motorcycles, which has experienced great growth in the sales figures, since he was headhunted to the position as Commercial Director. Line Rix has her own design and communications agency, which has so much success that not a single penny has been used on marketing in 2004.
You can ask Tue and Line questions at Alumni Event – they are part of our panel debate, on which competences are important in a global world. Christian S. Nissen, Henrik Dahl, Bjørn Lomborg and Lars Kirstein Andersen give a brief speech on their personal experiences on how to act on the global stage – and then it is time to discuss, and the politician Margrethe Vestager makes sure that the debate runs smoothly.
After this kick-off you can participate in two workshops. There is a wide range of workshops to choose from, and there is ample opportunity to learn and at the same time talk to the other participants. During the break you can visit different booths – you can e.g. talk to our staff at CBS Career Center who can advise you on your next career step both in Denmark and abroad. You can also stop by, if your company needs a student for a part-time job or a project.
We hope that as many of you as possible would like to participate in the event including the light dinner in the evening, where there will be lots of time to digest the impressions of the day as well as to exchange business cards.
Please remember that you must enrol by 1 September 2005 at the latest – we will, however, appreciate that you enrol as soon as possible.
We look forward to seeing you
