EngAGE - Do you want to continue your career with a company directly after your studies? 
The new programme Engaged Applied Global Education will be introduced autumn 2011 as a part of the BSc in International Business. Here a selected group of students will be granted the opportunity to follow a new programme aimed at continuing their career immediately after graduation in one of a number of large Danish companies.
(The programme is subject to final approval).  
 

Cultural intelligence, international experience and cross-disciplinarity
A reform has introduced more business economics into our programme BSC in Business, Language and Culture , and at the same time strengthened the focus on language skills and cultural understanding. Studying electives abroad at special BLC designed university partners in an area where the chosen second foreign language is spoken already on the 4th semester encourages integration and cultivating of your cultural intelligence during the last year of study.

Bachelors with focus on sociology and communication
In 2009 at undergraduate level, we launched a new BSc programme that integrates business economics and sociology: BSc in Business Administration and Sociology . For the first time in Europe, it has now become possible to combine these two fields at university level. From the very beginning, we have received several applications for this English-taught programme – from Denmark and abroad.

IT and social science news
At graduate level, we have made some changes to our IT programmes.We used to talk about Business Administration and Computer Science. The title of the programme is now MSc in Business Administration and Information Systems , and the contents have been updated in accordance with the technological development. The programme is primarily a specialisation of the bachelor programmes BSc in Business Administration and Information Systems and BA in Information Management . It features two different profiles, one of them being the English taught MSc in Business Administration and Information Management. The other one is IT Management and Business Economics which will be taught in English from 2012.

A few years ago, we launched a new kind of programme; the so-called MSocSc . This type of programme gives us the opportunity to enrol students with bachelor degrees from other institutions - and it has been a huge success. In 2009, we added two new MSocScs: MSocSc in Organisational Innovation and Entrepreneurship and MSocSc in Service Management . Both programmes are taught in English.

2 Elite Programmes
We are proud to lend our name to two out of twelve elite programmes in Denmark. Both programmes started in 2009, are taught in English and concentrate on finance and law, respectively. MSc in Advanced Economics and Finance and Master of Social Sciences in International Law, Economics and Management (in partnership with the University of Copenhagen).

3 Elite Modules
Besides the two Elite MSc Programmes, CBS also offers three intense and challenging courses, the Elite Modules, which only accept a maximum of 25 students on each course and give the student the posibility of obtaining both analytical and pratical skills. The three modules are electives that can be applied for during the 3rd semester of the graduate programme and the enrolment is based on the basis of individual assessments of applications.
