Regular visits from leading multinationals

At each course in the IB Programme four guest lecturers will be visiting, on average, making the IB programme an ideal place for practical learning.

As the leading business school in Denmark, CBS has developed a close relationship with a great handful of multinational companies. They see the IB students as the difference that gives them an advantage on the international business scene. That is why companies such as Coloplast, Novo Nordisk (leading global pharmaceutical companies), Carlsberg (the world-famous brewer), Lenovo (a PC manufacturer and successor of IBM), and the OMX (the Scandinavian Stock exchange – a leading provider of electronic trading technology) send guest lecturers.
How does learning more about Carlsberg by simply dropping by its global headquarters in Copenhagen sound? At Carlsberg, the Director of Internal Communication and Company Branding shares his experience with you and afterwards asks you if you have any questions. Then after that you might be invited to do some informal networking in the Carlsberg Brewery bar.
International coverage
The Atlantic Ocean is not in the way of guest lecturers' visits on the IB Programme at CBS. A board member of the New York Stock Exchange Euronext has given a video interview to the IB students about the recent trends in cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
What about visiting OMX headquarters and hearing about the ongoing consolidation processes in the global financial sector at first hand?
The business world of the 21st century is changing at an amazing pace, and up to date information is vital. The International Business Programme at Copenhagen Business School can offer up to date information by drawing on its many business friends and their networks.
