More students choose International Business

The BSc in International Business has accepted more students this year in response to growing demand, says IB director Professor Pascalis Raimondos-Møller.
Student numbers have increased from 100 to 120, with 60% coming direct from High School. The IB course has also seen a growing demand of students that have started another education, taken a gap year or worked abroad before joining the course. The number of these so-called Quota 2 applications rose by 25% in 2008.
While the numbers of overseas students in the first year dipped slightly in 2008, IB remains the most international in Copenhagen Business School with more than 40% of its students coming from outside Denmark.
"More students, both in Denmark and from overseas, have seen the value of the International Business bachelor," says Professor Pascalis Raimondos-Møller. "The mix of students from overseas and Danish students that have work experience from other countries gives us a dynamic atmosphere that benefits everyone, including the teachers."
