BSc in Business Administration and Sociology

This programme provides a comprehensive grounding in key business and economic subjects and equips you with the knowledge and analytical tools to understand today’s market economy in its broader historical and social context.

Become an Organisation Analyst
Over the course of the programme, you gain an understanding of how companies and other organisations are organised and how their activities are interlinked with the surrounding, global society.
Sociology will help you develop an understanding of the economic and social processes in an organisation. You will acquire practical skills that can be used when designing research projects, collecting data and analysing organisations. This unique combination gives you the qualifications to aid the further development of a given organisation and to foresee and create solutions to the challenges that modern organisations face.
You will develop broad based skills that qualify you for jobs in national and international companies, public institutions and other organisations, as well as global network organisations. The focus is on research methods and knowledge production for and about organisations.
A unique, contemporary perspective
The programme provides a unique mix of conventional business administrative
studies with the branches of sociology that focus in particular on economic and
organisational life. Thereby you will acquire a strong, analytical foundation. You will
gain unique insights into the organisational operations, market economics and the social constructions they are built around.
