Remember to ensure that sufficient postage is on the envelope when you sent it - otherwise you cannot be sure that the application arrives on time, or that we will receive it.
When should I send the application?
CBS must have documents at least at the time specified under: Deadlines . Applications received after the deadline will be accepted as timely if the envelope is postmarked no later than the day before the deadline - this means that the envelope must be postmarked on 14th March. NOTE - you must be aware that if you put your envelope in the mailbox the day before the deadline, please always check when your mailbox will be emptied so that you ensure that your envelope is postmarked on 14th March.

Should I send my application recommended?
It is always recommended to get a postal receipt from the post office from which you send your application. If you want to be absolutely sure that your application arrives, you can send the application recommended and then to save your receipt as proof.

Can I submit my application personally?

Will I receive a confirmation letter?
If you apply in the Quota 2, you will receive a confirmation letter in early April. You will unfortunately not get any confirmation letter, if you apply in Quota 1, since the application deadline (5 July) is too close to the deadline, where we sent out the acceptance letters (30 July).

How do I apply from abroad?
If you are abroad you should send the application by ordinary mail 14 March at the latest - as long as the letter is post stamped 14 March it does not matter when the application arrives at CBS. In very special circumstances on the 14 or 15 March, we can make a special arrangement for the application to send by fax. Please note that even if you fax your application to us within the given deadline you are still to send the original application to us as soon as possible. If this is not an option, you can create a power of attorney to a third person who then can complete and submit the application on your behalf, see also optagelse.dk order form and instructions.
