When applying for a bachelor/undergraduate study programme at CBS, you may apply in one of three ways:

1) You have a Danish NemID and apply digitally at www.optagelse.dk
- you are not to send any application form or priority form.
2) You apply without login at www.optagelse.dk
- you are to send the signature page with the application ID to CBS.
3) You apply using the paper forms available as pdf files at www.optagelse.dk
- you are to send application forms and (if applicable) the priority form to CBS.

Remember to ensure that sufficient postage is on the envelope when you sent it - otherwise you cannot be sure that the application arrives on time or that we will receive it.
When should I send the application/signature page?
CBS must have documents at least at the time specified under Documentation. Applications/signature pages received after the deadline will be accepted as timely if the envelope is postmarked no later than the day before the deadline. NB: always check when your mailbox is emptied to ensure that your envelope is postmarked correctly.

Should I send my application/signature page recommended?
It is always recommended to get a postal receipt from the post office from which you send your application. If you want to be absolutely sure that your application arrives, you can send the application recommended and then to save your receipt as proof.

Can I hand in my application/signature page personally?

Will I receive a confirmation letter?
If you apply in the Quota 2, you will receive a confirmation letter in early April. You will unfortunately not get any confirmation letter, if you apply in Quota 1, since the application deadline (5 July) is too close to the deadline, where we sent out the acceptance letters (30 July).

If you send the application/signature page the day before the deadline - and it is postmarked the day before the deadline - it does not matter, when it arrives at CBS. Under very special circumstances CBS Admissions Office may make special arrangements on 14 and 15 March. You may also give a power of attorney to a family member or friend, who may then apply on your behalf - see www.optagelse,dk for form and guidance.

Supplementary courses
Remember that Math is the only supplementary course you may do during the summer. If you do Math and you are accepted at CBS, we must have documentation for your passing the course no later than 15 September.
