Application and enrollment

If you want to apply for elective courses under the Vacant Place System, which are courses you must pay for, please fill out the registration form below.
 
 
The registration form will be uploaded on this page by end of July 2012.

When can I apply for electives next time?
You can apply for the autumn’s electives from 1 August 2012, 10 am till 8 August 2012, 10 am. 
 
 
Which electives can I apply for?
The lists of the electives 2012 will be uploaded here by end of April 2012:
 
 
You can apply for the electives which are not marked as either NOT ESTABLISHED or CLOSED FOR FURTHER ENROLMENT in the lists above.
 
 
Do I have to meet some requirements?
You do not have to be a student or fulfill certain entry requirements in order to apply under the Vacant Place System.
 
However, if you don't have an European citizenship you can only sign up through the Vacant Place System, if you have a Danish residence permit. Please enclose documentation for your residence permit.
 
 
If I apply for an elective, when will I know if I got the electives I applied for?
You will receive a letter right before the semester starts. The letter will be send to the address you state in the application form. You will receive a welcome letter, which gives you access to our electronic platform e-Campus, where you find teaching schedules, exam information and etc. 
 
 
How do I pay? 
You pay online and will receive instructions along with your welcome letter.
 
 
How are the electives distributed?
The seats are distributed by drawing lots.
 
 
What happens if I don’t pay?
The vacant places in CBS’s electives are offered in accordance with the order of part-time education. This means that you pay for a part of the expenses for teaching and exams. Please note, that you will be deregistered from your electives without further notice, if you do not pay before the deadline stated in electronic invoice.
 
You should also note that we don’t refund participations fees, unless the circumstances are extraordinary such as cases of severe illness.
 
 
What is the price of a bachelor course?
An undergraduate course (7.5 ECTS) costs DKR 1,750 – equivalent to DKR 234 per ECTS.
 
The price is the same no matter whether the exam is written or oral.
 
 
What is the price of a graduate course?
A graduate course (7.5 ECTS) costs DKR 3,500 - equivalent to DKR 467 per ECTS.
A Cand.merc. it course (7.5 ECTS) costs DRK 5,200 - equivalent to DKR 694 per ECTS.
 
The prices are the same no matter whether the exam is written or oral.

How many times can I do the exam?
As a Vacant Place student you have access to one ordinary and one retake exam within one year.
 
 
Will I receive a diploma?
As a Vacant Place Student you will receive a diploma for the exams you have passed, but cannot attain a diploma for a Bachelor or Masters degree through successive enrolment.
