Course content, structure and teaching
Undervisningen inddrager komparativ sociologisk litteratur der relateres til ledelses- og organisationsforhold i kulturelt forskellige områder af verden. Der inddrages cases og teoretisk litteratur om interkulturel ledelse og virksomhedssamarbejde.
Undervisningen foregår som fællesforelæsninger og holdundervisning. Der arbejdes med cases.

Learning Objectives
Undervisningens formål er at sætte de studerende i stand til at analysere kulturforskelles betydning for ledelses- og organisationsadfærd, internt i organisationer og mellem organisationer ud fra interkulturelle og kommunikative synsvinkler. De studerende skal opnå indsigt i samspillet mellem kulturforskelle på samfundsniveau og organisationsniveau og deres betydning for kommunikation og ledelsesadfærd, herunder deres rolle for virksomhedssamarbejde og –sammen­slutninger. Det er endvidere målsætningen, at de studerende sættes i stand til at redegøre for de teoretiske perspektiver, som ligger til grund for de metoder, teorier og analyser som anvendes i kurset
I synopsen skal den studerende kunne:
  • formulere en virksomhedsrelevant problemstilling ud fra eget valg og inden for kursets indholdsmæssige rammer
  • vise hvilke af kursets teorier og metoder, som er relevante for besvarelsen af den valgte problemstilling
  • skitsere en mulig problemløsning ved hjælp af de valgte synsvinkler, metoder og teorier.
Ved den mundtlige prøve skal den studerende kunne:
  • redegøre for og forsvare synopsens indhold som beskrevet ovenfor
  • dokumentere indsigt i kursets teorier, metoder og empiri som helhed (pensum).
