The Master's Thesis Counsellor
Master’s Thesis Counsellor Vibeke Ankersborg holds an MA and an MPC. She has taught social science methodology for the past ten years, also at CBS, and she has published a number of books. She knows a lot about the process of working on a thesis, the study conditions for thesis students and how to prevent extension of the time of study.
The Master’s Thesis Counsellor acts as an adviser to the master’s programmes within the thesis field. She initiates new activities and develops various kinds of publications to students and supervisors. Telephone hours:
Tuesdays from 1.30 till 3.30 pm
Thursdays from 10 am till 12 pm
Responsibilities:
  • Gives master's thesis seminars and workshops and courses on project work and study technique
  • Develops thesis process material to students
  • Develops new activities within the master’s thesis field
  • Provides guidance to master’s thesis students
  • Examines the master’s thesis students’ behaviour and study conditions
  • Communication to students
  • Acts as advisor to study boards, course coordinators etc. within the thesis field
