Analysing International Interaction
You are provided with the qualifications required to analyse such interactions in an action-oriented, problem-solving perspective, based on a deeper understanding of all actors.
IBP combines business and management studies, political science and international political economy and international law. You get in-depth knowledge of:
• internationalisation of business and strategies of transnational corporations, emphasising their internal management, their international strategies and relations to political institutions
• theories and analyses of economic, political and legal aspects of globalisation, providing a strong theoretical background for understanding changes in world society
• contemporary issues such as the politics of international finance, the challenges of creating international business standards and the rise of the BRIC countries.
The courses emphasise independent work and development of analytical skills, with room to choose your own topics for analysis.
Career Opportunities
You will be prepared for a career in international companies or institutions and organisations with significant cross-border activities. You will be qualified to work in the areas of:
• stakeholder relations
• strategy formulation
• analysis of economic-political problems
• advising on international conditions and relations.

The programme strikes a balance between understanding and problem solving. Some courses deepen your understanding of developments in the global political
economy and your skills in analysing these. Other courses focus on using such skills for solutions to problems in business and public organisations and NGOs.
