I'm going to finish my undergraduate studies after the application deadline. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can apply. Upload an official preliminary grade transcript and other relevant Documentation. If you are conditionally accepted, you will have to document that you have finished your undergraduate degree before study start.
I need to take an English test but I can't do that before the application deadline. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can apply. Indicate in Admission Flow when you can take the test. If you are conditionally accepted, you will have to document that you have fulfilled the English language requirement before study start.
Can you evaluate my educational background to see if I qualify for any of your programmes?
Yes, we make appraisals between October and November each year. During the remaining time we only evaluate your background as part of an actual application. If you have applied for admission in 2012, upload documentation and write your questions/comments as a note in Admission Flow.
Do I need a GMAT/GRE to apply for graduate admission at CBS?
No, we do not use those at all.
Do I need to upload a resume, proof of work experience or recommendations?
No, we do not use those in the assessments.
What is the school code for CBS when sending the international TOEFL test?
Our school code is 7035; you do not need to state a department, as all results come to CBS Admissions Office.
I'm already studying at a graduate programme - can I transfer to CBS?
 No, it is not possible to transfer to CBS. You are to apply as normal, and IF you are accepted you may apply to the programme's study board for credit transfer of courses already passed at graduate level.
How do you select applicants? What GPA do I need?
For programmes with a limited number of places, we use selection criteria, see Selection Criteria
Is it possible to have an earlier answer on my application?
No, we only give answers on the set dates, see Scolarship Deadlines, Group A Deadlines, or Group B Deadlines.
Admission Flow FAQ
I have forgotten my user name - where do I find it?
You will find it on the receipt you downloaded/printed when you applied. If you forgot to do that, you are to send an email to graduateadmission@cbs.dk with the header "Username missing".
I received an appraisal in Admission Flow, but I cannot access it anymore. What can I do?
Make sure that you log in to Admission Flow using the direct link that was provided to you via e-mail when you were notified that your appraisal was finalised. You may contact the Admissions Office if you did not receive a direct link to your appraisal or if you have lost it.
I received an appraisal in Admission Flow - do I still need to submit an application?
Yes, you do. You must create a new account, with a new username and password (select "I am a new user" at the Admission Flow login page), then fill out and submit your application.
I have forgotten my password - how do I retrieve it?
If you click on "Send me my password" at the login page, the password is then sent to the email address you have indicated in your application.
How will I find out if I am accepted?
We will upload a letter with the answer to your application in Admission Flow, so you must log in to read this letter. You will receive an e-mail when the letter is uploaded. If you are offered a place, you will also be able to say yes or no to our offer online.
I have asked you a question via the notes in Admission Flow, why haven't you answered me?
We are answering applicants' questions as they are asked, but we are prioritizing the concrete questions, that are very relevant for the applicants' cases. General questions, for which the answers can be find online, will have low priority. You will be notified by e-mail when your note has been answered. If you have been waiting for a long time to get an answer, you are of course welcome to call us during our opening hours.
I uploaded documentation to my application in Admission Flow. Have you received it?
You can check yourself if the documentation was correctly uploaded by clicking on "Enclosures" in the left menu and then on "Attach files".
Do I get an e-mail confirmation when my application is submitted?
Yes, you do.
I can no longer use my CBS login – what should I do?
You do not need to use your CBS login, since you were asked to create your own username and password when you applied. If you gave your CBS e-mail as your contact address in your application, but you can no longer have access to this e-mail account, you must contact us and provide a new e-mail address.
Why can't I find my bachelor degree listed, when I am filling in the application form online?
If you cannot find your degree on the list, that means that your degree is not directly qualifying to the Master's programme you are applying for. You must therefore select the option ”I have another Danish degree” instead. NB: applicants for a MsocSc programme and for the Msc in Advanced Economics and Finance must always select the option ”I have another Danish degree”, as there are no bachelor degrees that are directly qualifying for these programme.
Why can't I upload documentation?
It might be that your internet browser doesn't have the correct settings. You can try to change the browser's settings, or use another computer to apply. Remember to allow pop-up windows from Admission Flow. You must also remember to make sure that the files you are trying to upload do not exceed 5 MB in total. If you fail to upload documentation, you may send it in hard copy format to Admissions Office.
My documentation seems to be gone, what happened?
If you cannot see your documentation under ”Enclosures” and ”Attach files” when you log in, that is probably because you have created several applications with different usernames and are not logged in to the application that you uploaded documentation to.
I am a Mac user and I cannot access Admission Flow, what can I do?
Unfortunately certain Mac users experience problems logging in to the system - please try a PC or another Mac instead.
