Studerende der nyder 10 minutters pause

This concentration explores how employees, leaders and social and working environment interact in an organisation. Relevant topics are employees’ recruitment and retention, job design, employee relations and the development of competences, career and leadership skills. HRM issues are primarily based on organisational theory, but also on sociology, economy and theory of education, providing students with qualitative knowledge within different study areas.

Thorough theoretical study and hands-on practise

The study is divided into a number of topics and subjects. Each topic combines insightful knowledge with a project in a real-world company. The company provides students an assignment and feedback based on the students’ report and conclusions. Furthermore, students go through a ten weeks practical period in a private or public company, where they are challenged on the basis of their HRM knowledge with real problems in the real business world.
Students in the HRM concentration cannot only work in HR departments, but they are qualified to strategically work with companies’ development and resource processes, as e.g. organisational consultants or department managers.
