Language requirements

CEMS

When applying for the programme, it is required to demonstrate a high level of ability in two foreign languages besides the mother tongue. Registration for pre-testing should be done at the CBS Language Center .

Language combinations

Either the mother tongue or the first foreign language must be English and the other foreign language must be one of the CEMS schools languages (Czech, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish or Swedish). Please note that certain language combinations cannot be accepted (e.g. Danish/Swedish/Norwegian or Czech/Slovak).
If you need to take a TOEFL or other language pre-test, you are advised to do so as soon as possible. Please note that language test results have a shelf-life of 2 years.
