Introduction & Start of Semester
MSc in Business, Language and Culture - both specialisations
All new students at MSc BLC will receive detalied information and programme of the Introduction Programme together with their letter of acceptance.
It is not mandatory to participate in the Introduction Programme, but we highly recommend that all students accept the offer to receive a broad practical, academical, and social introduction to the education. History shows that the activities in the introduction programme help new students to an easier beginning to the study programme.
The introductory programme will consist of a one day practical orientation to CBS and BLC. This day also functions as a means to meet fellow students, socialise and organise events for the upcoming weeks. The first weekend of classes (Friday afternoon – Sunday afternoon), a cabin trip is organized. Here you can seriously get introduced to the programme and fellow students – many students form study groups at the cabin trip; it is therefore advisable to participate.
The semesters at CBS
The autumn semester runs from September to December, often with exams in January. The spring semester runs from February to June, with most exams in June. Please note that it is not possible to be admitted directly to the second semester on a graduate programme, as there is academic progression from first to second semester. .
