Dispensation Practice
Here is a list of the most common types of requests we receive for dispensation. Following each type of request, there is a description of the common Admissions Office practice in response to the type of request.
REMEMBER: Each application for exemption is reviewed on a case-by-case basis for its personal and specific situation, and you may use the table below only as a guideline rather than a definitive response to each type of request.

General entry requirement - ACADEMIC bachelor degree
Dispensation may be granted: a min. of 30 ECTS-points done at academic bachelor level is normally required. See Exemptees.
General admission requirements - bachelor degree within the SOCIAL SCIENCES
Dispensation for not having a bachelor degree within the social sciences may be granted, as long as the other admission requirements are fulfilled. See Exemptees.

Graduate programme regulations:
 
You already have a master’s degree and are applying to do another master’s degree (with a different title)
1) Programmes with an unlimited number of places: your application will be considered without any dispensation request.
2) Programmes with a limited number of places: Dispensation is very rarely granted.
You already have a master’s degree and are applying to take the same master’s degree with a new conecntration (typically at MSc EBA/cand.merc.)
Dispensation cannot be granted due to Danish law.
