|
Master of Science (full-time, two-year graduate programmes)
|
EURO 12,500 per year
|
|
Master of Arts (full-time, two-year graduate programmes)
|
EURO 11,000 per year
|
Details on payment, a possible exemption and reimbursement are available below. Information on scholarships is given at

Special rules concerning tuition fee applies to the MSocSc in Public Management and Social Development, please see
Entry Requirements.
Payment:
The tuition fee is payable to:
Bank: Den Danske Bank
Registration number: 9541
Account number: 10276926
Account holder: CBS
Swift code: SWIFT-BIC DABADKKK
IBAN number: IBAN DK9830000010276926
The tuition fee is payable once a year (the payment cannot be split up). If the tuition fee is paid from a Danish bank and you choose to pay in Danish kroner, the rates are 93,750 DKK for MSc programmes and 82,500 DKK for MA programmes. As information detail - please remember to write the applicants full name when transferring the money to CBS.
NB: If the tuition fee is not paid from your own bank account, you should expect the Danish Immigration Service to require further documentation that you can support yourself while studying, thereby making the student residence permit application process slow.
The deadline for paying tuition fee depends on your application group and on whether you need a student residence permit or not to study at CBS:
|
If you are a Group B applicant and need a student residence permit:
|
1 May
|
|
If you are a Group B applicant and do NOT need a student residence permit:
|
21 June
|
|
If you are a Group A applicant (and no matter if you need a student residence permit or not):
|
21 June
|
Please note that CBS Admissions Office will issue the residence permit application papers only after the tuition fee is available at CBS' account.
Exemption:
You may be exempted from paying tuition fee, if you have one of the following two residence permits in Denmark:
- "Permanent opholdstilladelse" (permanent residence permit)
- "Midlertidig opholdstilladelse mmf varigt ophold" (temporary residence permit with the possibility of gaining permanent residence)
Depending on the exact wording, other residence permits may grant you an exemption. Also, specific residence permits in the other Nordic countries may grant you an exemption; for instance the "PUT" in Sweden. Nevertheless, having a student visa does not under any circumstances exempt you from paying tuition fee. Please contact the Admission Office, if you in doubt whether your residence permit exempts you or not.
If you have one of the above residence permits, it is very important that you send documentation to prove it to the Admissions Office. We accept the following documentation:
- certified copy of your residence permit letter from the Immigration Services
- certified copy of your residence permit card
- certified copy of the page in your passport giving your residence permit.
Based on the documentation given, the Admissions Office will grant (or deny) you an exemption. Please note that you may still be required to pay an application fee.
Reimbursement:
It is only possible to have the tuition fee reimbursed in the following cases:
- if you, after having paid the tuition fee, obtain a residence permit exempting you from paying tuition fee
- if you are conditionally accepted and do not, against expectations, fulfil the requirements stated
The tuition fee will be reimbursed between 1 October and 31 December and always to the account from which it was paid.
