I think the MPA degree has given me something at many different levels. Partly because as an MPA, you are received differently, and partly because your own expectations are different. Personally, I became more courageous and self-confident. I do not feel there is anything I cannot do and I analyse the political game easier.

As an old school teacher and therapist, I have a tendency to accept everything as equal, but that can be difficult when you need to make decisions. I thought it was exciting to start moving again. The instruction is organised so that it varies and there is a lot of participation. We are forced to reflect on the material in a completely different way than in normal lectures. The way the group has been assembled, the different competences deliberately put together, means that our first project really has new insight, because opinions meet in a way I am not used to.

I think we have very inspiring instructors – they cover the whole spectrum and they have enormous insight into their subjects. We all show up on the first day with a little stage fright, but the introduction period of time has been really open. Those days were really well-spent.
