Values

By taking a Master of Public Administration at CBS, you will receive a research-based management degree on a high international level with special focus on change.
After the MPA course, you will be able to:
  • combine task requirements and resources
  • manage in relation to political processes
  • develop an understanding of and a critical relationship to your own role in the organisation, as well as the ethical basis for it
  • develop the ability to cooperate with people with different educational backgrounds and experience, and thereby be able to handle interdisciplinary challenges
  • develop a strong network that you will be able to use during and after your MPA coursework.

What your employer gets out of you studying for an MPA

There are costs connected to letting an employee take an MPA degree – but the opportunities for gain are just as large.
During the students' studies, the workplace has a staff member who takes part in a personal, professional and management development process that is directly related to the processes taking place at work – because the MPA degree is anchored both in the newest research and the students' practice and everyday work life.
With an MPA degree, the employer gains an experienced manager/employee with a brand new degree, anchored to practice and updated theory. An enthusiastic person who, after a two year course, is ready to bring new knowledge, new energy and new ideas to the workplace.
