Prof. Pedersen is the founding father of International Center for Business and Politics, CBS.
He is honorary professor of Public Administration, Aalborg University and has been a visiting scholar at Stockholm, Harvard, Stanford and Sydney Universities and Dartmouth College.
Previously he was Professor of Comparative Politics at Department of Political Science, Copenhagen University and Professor of Public Administration at Department of Politics, Economics and Public Administration, Aalborg University.
He is member of scientific advisory boards, public commissions and a reviewer for research councils, scientific journals and private funds.
He has for several years been writing political commentaries for a number of Danish newspapers and was awarded the best communicator of scientific knowledge 2008 by the Minister for Science, Technology and Development.
