When does the next MPA-degree course start and when is the application deadline?
The next course starts in January, 2012. We accept and process applications on an ongoing basis. If you apply before 1 June, you will be informed whether you have been accepted in the month of June. If you apply before 1 November, you will be informed whether you have been accepted in the month of November.
Can I work while I study for an MPA?
MPA is one of the most ”employer-friendly” degrees in Denmark, because almost all instruction occurs outside of work hours. Nevertheless, expect an extra workload during periods with projects and thesis-writing. It is recommended that an agreement is reached with the employer for a short leave of absence in connection with core course deadlines and the thesis.
Can I take single courses offered as part of the MPA degree?
The MPA subject courses are part of an integrated whole and, thus, cannot be taken individually. However, it is posible to participate in optional courses that are offered each spring semester.
What qualifications are required to be accepted for the MPA degree?
To be accepted for the MPA course, you need to have a three-year degree (the equivalent of a bachelor degree) plus have three years of relevant experience after your degree.
What is the language of instruction?
The language of instruction is Danish, except at the summer schools, where there will be participants from other European MPA programmes.
