The programme emphasises the development of competences in:
- formulating proposals for a company language policy and implementing strategies for securing quality and consistency in linguistic communication
- methods for increasing productivity and quality in language output, using the needs and professional knowledge of the company as a starting point
- analysing and structuring information in the textual content of company documents, facilitating retrieval and reuse
- using relevant information-technology tools
- evaluation and application of tools for machine-aided translation
- project management.
