  What Is the Application Deadline
We have rolling applications throughout the year. You can already start submitting your application for the semester beginning in September 2012. The sooner we receive your documents, the sooner we can process your application.
 
 Is There an Application Fee?
There is no application fee when applying for any of the CBS MBA programs.
 
What are the Requirements for the CBS Full-time MBA?

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of post-bachelor work experience
  • CBS Admissions Exam or GMAT
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Interview
 
Do I Have to Take the GMAT Before Applying?
You have the option of taking the CBS Admissions Test for an early decision on your application.
If you take the GMAT, please note that we do not make use of cut-off scores. Your GMAT scores will be evaluated in combination with the other credentials indicated in your application. We expect the GMAT range to be from 550-750 with a class average of 600.

What is the Tuition Fee and What Does it Cover?
For the MBA starting in September 2012, the tuition fee is DKK (Danish Krone) 290,000 (approximately the equivalent of EURO 39,000 and USD 56,000). You will be invoiced in Danish Krone. This amount does not cover books or living costs. Please see the Tuition Fees & Expenses section of this website for the cost breakdown.
 
Do I Need To Apply for a Residence Permit for Denmark?
All visitors to Denmark must have a valid passport to enter the country. VISA and residence permit requirements to enter the country may vary and are always subject to change, so it is always wise to check with the Danish embassy or consulates in your area before finalising any travel plans.

When Does the Full-time MBA Program  at CBS Start and End?
The one-year CBS Full-time MBA Program commences in early September and ends the following August. Please see the Programme section of this website.
 
Does the CBS Full-time MBA Program Offer Any Kind of Pre-Course?
Yes, for participants, who need to refresh their knowledge of the fundamental issues relating to Accounting, Economics and Statistics, we will run a one-week pre-MBA course. Please see the Programme section of this website.
 
How do I Apply for a Scholarship?
CBS offers a limited number of scholarships for exceptional candidates joining the full-time MBA. In addition to scholarships, which are need-based/merit-based regardless of your nationality. We also offer some merit-and-country-specific scholarships.
Candidates applying for the CBS MBA Scholarships need to submit all required documents to us. Decisions on the scholarships for the next semester will be announced by June 2012.
Please note that admissions decisions will be made prior to decision on the scholarships. Admissions decisions are not influenced by your application for scholarships.
Due to the limited number of available scholarships, candidates should actively look for alternative sources of funding. Please see the Scholarships section of this website.
 
Can I Have My Credits From Another Course Transferred?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to have credits transferred and be exempt from attending a course. A substantial part of the work undertaken during the 12 months is undertaken in groups. Not only will this be disruptive for this work, but that the participant may not be fully integrated in the class and therefore not benefit fully from the year.
 
Accommodation – How Do I Find a Place To Live While Attending the MBA?
If you are interested, the MBA Programme will, in cooperation with the International Office at CBS, find accommodation for you. It will typically be a room in a flat, which is shared between two-four participants from the MBA Programme. We have estimated that the housing costs will amount to around DKK 60,000 (approximately the equivalent of EURO 8,000 and USD 12,810) for the year.  Where Do I Find a Housing Form?
In the Progam's Application Form you are kindly requested to indicate, if you would like CBS' assistance in finding accommodation. We will enclose further information with your letter of confirmation.
 
Is it Possible for My Partner to Join Me in Denmark, While I Study the MBA?
Since the change of government in 2002, the Danish immigration laws have been tightened considerably. It is therefore no longer possible for a foreign national, originating from a country outside the EU and Nordic countries, participating in a course of only one year duration, to bring his or her spouse, as visas are no longer automatically issued. The spouse will now have to apply for a visa independently. For further information we suggest that you visit the Danish Immigration Service website.
 
Will I Be Able to Work While Attending the Full-time MBA Program?
It is practically impossible to work while doing your MBA. The workload is high and participants will spend on average 70 hours per week on attending classes, group work, preparation, project work etc. Participants, who have entered the country on a student visa, are allowed to work 15 hours per week, but will need to equire the school's permission to work to ensure that the work does not affect the progress of their MBA.
 
 Will I Be Able to Get A Work Permit in Denmark?
