Application dates

You can apply for ISUP 2012 from 15 February (10 am) to 1 March (12 pm), 2012.

How to apply

You can apply for ISUP by completing our online application. The link to the application will be available on our webpage during the application period.
When completing the online application you will be asked to give your personal information as well as indicate your course preferences. You will also have to submit a number of supplementary documents in order to complete your application (see Application documents) - you will be asked to upload these documents during the online application process. Please have your documents ready BEFORE you start applying. In case we need an original of any of your supplementary documents we will contact you and request you to send that by post. In case you encounter any difficulties with the online application system please contact us at summer@cbs.dk.
Only Nominated Exchange Students: All exchange students must also be formally nominated by their home university.

Application documents

As an international student you will need to submit the following documents together with your application:
  • A copy of your CV/Resume in English
  • Certified transcript of grades in English from your university level studies (bachelor and master’s degree where applicable)
  • Proof of English proficiency (for non-native English speakers) - please see below Proof of English proficiency
  • Copy of your passport (photo pages and residence permit stickers, where applicable)
  • Only Students from a European partner university: a pre-approval of credit transfer from your home university, confirming that you will get credit for the ISUP coures you want to take in your current study program
  • Only Non-European Freemovers: Non-European Freemovers must pay a non-refundable application fee of 800DKK when applying for ISUP.
Proof of English proficiency:
  • TOEFL iBT test result of at least 91 OR
  • TOEFL paper-based test result of at least 577 OR
  • IELTS academic test result of at least 6.5 OR
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English passed OR
  • Certificate of Advanced English passed with A or B OR
  • A complete bachelor degree done in English in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore,South Africa, UK or the US OR 
  • A complete upper secondary education done in English in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa or the US OR 
  • Certain direct qualifying bachelor degrees done in English in Denmark: all bachelor programmes in English at CBS; BA(int.) at SDU; Negot IF studied with English at SDU; HA(int.) IF studied with English fully at ASB/AU OR
Equivalency within EU/EEA:
In the list below you may see, what we require from students from EU/EEA countries; please note that we do not accept any other documentation than mentioned in the list. If you do not fulfil the English requirement according to the list, you are to do an English test. English A Equivalency in EU&EEA
Please register for a test already NOW and have it up-to-date before you start applying!

Application processing

The processing time of applications can be anywhere from two to four weeks after the deadline, so if your application is complete you will hear about your acceptance to the program within that time period. Information about your course allocations will be available in April.
Upon acceptance to the program students will receive more detailed information about the program. Fee-paying students (i.e. European Freemovers and Non-European Freemovers) will receive payment instructions. Moreover, students will get access to their CBS e-mail address, and from that time on we will only communicate with you via your CBS e-mail and it will be your responsibility to check this account regularly.
