Exams

Exam Schedule

All oral and written exams are placed in the final week of the program from 30 July – 3 August 2012. Written projects/home assignments will be due during that week as well. The exam schedule for 2012 with the exact days and times will be available in June 2012.

Exam registration/withdrawal

If you are enrolled in a course you will be automatically enrolled for the exam.
If you wish to withdraw from an exam you can do so by contacting us at summer@cbs.dk no later than one month before the exam takes place. CBS students who take ISUP courses as electives, have to contact the Electives secretariat at valgfag.stu@cbs.dk.

Grades and Transcripts

In order to pass the course and get a transcript, you will have to complete the exam required for each course. Students who do not take the exams will not be able to receive any documentation for their participation in the program.
Grades for all ISUP courses are based 100% on the final exam. Some courses include a 'mandatory feedback assignment': this assignment will not be part of your grade, but it must have been completed in order to take the final exam or to submit the final project.
Students can see their grades on e-campus . All international students as well as Danish credit transfer students (merit) and Open University students will also receive a transcript, confirming the courses taken and grades received, as long as they have paid any balances due to CBS (housing, tuition, social activities, etc.).

Make-up and re-take exams

Make-up exam
If you were not able to attend your exam due to illness and submit a written statement from a doctor no later than one week of the exam date, your exam will be registered as “syg”/”sick” and you can take a make-up exam in the beginning of October 2012.
Re-take exam
If you fail an exam (i.e. if you receive a grade of 00 or lower), there is a possibility for a re-take exam. Please note that re-take exams are only open to students who participated in a regular exam and legitimately failed (if a student did not show up for an exam, he/she won’t be allowed to take a re-take exam).
If you are entitled to take a make-up or re-take exam and wish to do so, you will have to actively sign up for it by contacting the ISUP Secretariat at summer@cbs.dk – don’t sign up for the re-take/make up exam if you are not 100% sure that you can participate in the exam. The deadline for registering for a make-up or re-take exam is two weeks before the exam takes place.
Please note that there was a mandatory feedback assignment for some of the courses. If you want to sign up for the make-up or re-take exam for such a course and you have not submitted the feedback assignment yet, please make sure to submit the feedback assignment latest on Friday, 14 September 2012 to summer@cbs.dk. Otherwise you cannot take the make up/ re-take exam.
Students who are eligible for and have signed up for a make-up/re-take exam, will receive the home & project assignment vie e-mail on the exam day to their CBS e-mail address. You will have to hand in your answers & projects via e-mail by sending them  to summer@cbs.dk. Assignments submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
