Exchange Students - Registration deadlines
All exchange students must be formally nominated by their home university.
Deadline for your university to send nomination to CBS is 1 May (Autumn semester) or 15 October (Spring semester).

Autumn Semester 2012 deadlines:
  • Deadline for nomination: 1 May
  • The Autumn Course Catalogues available by 1 May
  • Deadline for registration (including course registration): 15 May

Spring Semester 2013 deadlines
:
  • Deadline for nomination: 15 October 2012
  • Spring Course Catalogues will be online in October.
  • Deadline for registration (including course registration): 20 November.
Nominated exchange students for the autumn 2012 must register online by May 15 at the latest. Please note: The link to the online registration flow will be sent to the students early May.
Online registration for Spring 2012 will open at approximately 16.00 (4 pm) CET November 8, 2012.
The students will be asked to upload the documents in the following list as part of the online registration process, so it is a good idea to have the documents ready in a scanned version before starting the online registration process. Please note that only the following formats can be used when uploading: doc, docx, jpg and pdf. The documents that must be uploaded are:
  • Your CV/resumé in English
  • Scanned image of your passport (photo page)
  • Copy of your most recent university transcript
  • Scores from one of the following English proficiency test scores are required (see only exceptions listed below) for non-native English speakers:
    1. TOEFL: 577 (PBT) or 91 (iBT) or above OR
    NOTE that the requirement for the internship course is higher: 600 (PBT) or 100 (iBT) or above OR
    2. CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) (Level C2) OR
    3. CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) (Level C1) OR
    4. IELTS: 6.5 or above OR.
    NOTE: TOEIC: this test is no longer accepted. In addition to the above-mentioned alternative to the TOEFL, there are several others found at this link: English Proficiency Alternatives . Please note that other proficiency tests are not recognized or accepted by CBS.
  • The following conditions are the only exceptions to the above requirements for proof of English proficiency:
    1. Scandinavian students
    2. Students with English as a mother tongue
    3. Students that have completed, or are undertaking, a university degree taught entirely in English
    4. CEMS students
    5. Language students, if the language is English
    6. Students from the French-speaking part of Canada
    7. Double degree students
    8. Students with GMAT scores over 577or GRE verbal scores over 600 do not need to send in further proof of English proficiency. You should just include an official result as your proof of English proficiency.
