I am studying a Master of Science in Business, Language and Culture and my concentration is Business and Development Studies. I chose Copenhagen Business School because it was the perfect fit for my educational background and it is also a well-reputed international university, which improves my chances of getting a good job anywhere in the world, when I finish my Master’s Degree.
What I find unique about CBS are the teaching methods. The Professors here will challenge you to study and think! The courses are all very intense, but there is not much hierarchy between the professors and the students and this enables you to ask questions and gain full output from the lectures.
One thing I really love about CBS is the fact that you can borrow unlimited amounts of books from the library. I spend a lot of time studying and doing research there, because the library provides the perfect setting for getting my school work done. All in all, the facilities of CBS are amazing and it is very obvious that both Danish and international students feel comfortable here.
When I am not studying, I go out with my friends and husband. I am married to a Dane and live in Nørrebro in a flat that we recently bought together. Usually, we go for a bicycle ride or go to a concert. In China we do not have that many live concerts and I like listening to real music. We saw Aqua play in Tivoli this summer, which was really cool. Also, we play badminton. My husband and I played a lot in china – and now, I even found a Chinese badminton club here in Copenhagen.
Another great thing about Copenhagen is the infrastructure. For instance, we don’t have bicycle lanes in China, but in Copenhagen it is very easy to get from one place to another by bike.
Finally, I think that the Danish culture and history is highly intriguing, and I do my very best to explore the cultural treasures in Denmark, when my studies allows me to do so.
