Brazil - MSocSc SEM

Flavia Knudsen

My Danish husband told me about CBS, and after applying, I was thrilled to be accepted onto the MSc Service Management program. There are many facets of CBS that I like; in particular the fantastic infrastructure and lectures. I also love to make use of the range of extra services offered to students like the career centre, for example, where it is possible to find specialist advice.
Copenhagen itself has so much to offer. It’s a bike friendly city and I love to cycle as a way to get around. That’s definitely the biggest change in my life from Brazil. I’ve explored the canal tours, the Round Tower and the parks.
I’m studying hard to learn Danish at a language center. It was tough at first but I am getting a lot more competent now.
The Danish weather is fine for me because I actually like the cold! In my region in Brazil we have a lot of stormy rainy days in the summer and I don’t miss those at all.
There are lots of nice Danish things to eat as well: I like the rye bread, roast pork, Danish chesses, and of course all of the pastries!
My parents have been to visit me and they love it. They are already planning another trip soon.
I really want to help anyone who is thinking of studying at CBS as it is such a great experience. Please feel free to write to me if you have any questions.
