Australia - MSocSc CBP

Stephanie Moscovis

I am an international student from Australia, although I am originally of Greek descent. I began the Master’s of Social Science programme in Management of Creative Business Processes in 2009, but I was living in Denmark for one and a half years before then. First, I came to Copenhagen Business School as an exchange student, and since I had such a positive experience, I decided to move here to finish my bachelor’s degree. When it became clear to me that I wanted to work with creative industry and management, I applied and was accepted into CBS’ MSocSc in Management of Creative Business Processes.
What I like best about CBS is the wide selection of courses available and the ability to pick a course that is just right for me. Plus, the university has great facilities, and I love the variety of bagels in the cafeteria.
On the weekends I like to go for walks in the city center, visit art museums, shop in second hand boutiques, listen to jazz music and go to parties and cafés. I also take ballet classes in my spare time. I live with my Danish boyfriend in a big apartment that we share with seven other people who have all become good friends. I often cook Greek food and I can find most of the ingredients here in Denmark, though I have convinced my mother to send me some typical Australian snacks every once in a while, too.
In addition to studying at CBS and exploring Copenhagen, I work part-time in a bar where I have the opportunity to meet a lot of different people. My Danish language courses here at CBS help me more easily communicate with Danes, and knowing the language is especially useful when I’m at work.
All in all, I love the fact that there is a lot happening in Copenhagen when I need a study break. The underground scene here is very strong and people here are very passionate about what they are doing.
