MSc in Business Informatics at University of Mannheim Business School
The Master in Business Informatics is a university degree at the intersection between computer science and business administration. The course concept equips students with the solid basic knowledge of a business information specialist, combined with the opportunity to specialize in a sub-area of business informatics by choosing a specialization track. Courses in key qualifications and a team-project provide transferable skills outside of the student's discipline. This allows the student to shape a clear profile for their aspired career.
Students are trained in competencies in both business informatics and in practical computer science and business administration. Students themselves decide how to weight their focus on the three areas - depending on their targeted career and personal interests.
A typical characteristic of the Master in Business Informatics, in addition to its sound theoretical foundation, is its application-oriented approach, which is characterized by cooperation with strong partners from practice.
