Double Degree option for the International Business (IBS) concentration at CBS

Copenhagen Business School and The Graduate School of Business Administration and Leadership (EGADE) in México are collaborating on an exciting new double degree programme in International Business, which will provide students with an unparallel opportunity to experience two unique business systems.
If you have chosen or are planning to choose the Master of Science with a concentration in International Business at CBS, you do not want to let this opportunity pass you by. The double degree agreement is exclusively for the IBS concentration and 5 selected students from each university will have the chance to pursue this unique option.
Pursuing a double degree means that not only will you obtain a Master of Science from CBS, you will also obtain a Master in International Business from the No.1 business school in Latin America, EGADE– without prolonging your studies.
Double Degree Setup
1st Year at CBS
2nd Year at EGADE
1st and 2nd semesters
3rd and 4th semesters
Complete the mandatory courses of the IBS programme
  1. Complete 5 elective courses from the MIB portfolio, which account for 30 credits total.
  2. Complete the four elements, which amount to 30 ECTS credits and result in a Master's Thesis:
    i. Thesis I
    ii. Thesis II
    iii. Independent Study I
    iv. Independent Study II

EGADE

The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) or simply Tecnológico de Monterrey is a private university in Mexico founded in 1943. The Monterrey Campus in Monterrey, Nuevo León, is the main site of the ITESM. The campus extends over 0.5 km², and includes 8 buildings with classrooms, a library, 5 administrative buildings, 5 cafeterias, several dormitories for students, gymnasia, a theatre and a world-class football stadium. The Tecnológico de Monterrey is accredited or recognized by many international organisations e.g. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and The European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).
The Graduate School of Business Administration and Leadership (EGADE)
EGADE is the Graduate School of Business at ITESM. EGADE was created more than 30 years ago in Mexico City as the business and financial heart of Mexico, also a second campus was located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, which has been classified by Fortune magazine as Latin America's most attractive city for business. EGADE has an enrolment of 1,100 graduate students, an alumni network of over 5,600, and 77 full-time faculty members. More than 78% of full-time students are international representing a total of 22 nationalities.
EGADE has earned a reputation as the leading Latin American business school in the world. It has been ranked first in Latin America by América Economia magazine, a Dow Jones publication, for four consecutive years. The Master in International Business (MIB)
The Master in International Business (MIB) at EGADE is an international world-class graduate degree in business in a multi-country experience. The main objective of the MIB programme is to create executives capable of managing and leading world class companies, regardless of their geographical location. This can be achieved through the development of international leaders with a flexible and open mentality needed in a globally competitive environment, and who are capable of using creativity and innovation to solve complex problems of cross-cultural nature. The MIB programme is carried out, based on a multi-campus infrastructure in different countries, with students from all over the world, with an international faculty and international learning and cross-cultural experience replicating the real-world international environment.
