Dates when student residences are available:
Spring semester 2012 - 13 January to 15 June
Summer University 2012 - 22 June to 4 August
Autumn semester 2012 - 17 August to 31 December
It is very important that you keep all the receipts from your payments for future reference.

With a private housing accommodation, the tenancy agreement is drawn up between you and your landlord/lady. The CBS plays no formal role in this agreement and cannot be held responsible for any problems or irregularities that may occur between you and your landlord/lady.

Please note that the private housing contract can be terminated by either part. Notice must be current month plus 30 days, and always with departure on the last day of the month! For example, if you give notice of termination on 5 September, your agreement is still valid (and you must pay rent) until 31 October.

Rent
Your rent is paid directly to your landlord/lady and the rent is due on the 1st of every month. It is your responsibility to have the correct amount ready for your landlord/lady on this date. You must insist on a receipt for your payment, which is your only proof of payment, so keep it.
Deposit
Upon arrival you pay a deposit equivalent to one month's rent.
