Bikuben Kollegiet is a new residence hall recently built in Copenhagen on Amager, which is close to the city center. The residence has 107 small apartments. It primarily for Danish students; however, about 10 of the apartments are furnished and been reserved for international students.

Type of Accommodation
The residence has a total of 107 rooms. CBS has access to 3 single rooms for MBA students.

Rooms
The rooms vary in size since this is an old renovated building, but are between 11-18 square meters.

Bathroom
Each room has an en-suite bathroom.

Kitchen
Each room has its own en-suite kitchenette.

Laundry
There are laundry facilities (washing machines and dryers) in the residence. These are not free of charge; you will be charged for the cost of laundry via withdrawal from your deposit. More information about the use of the laundry facilities will be provided upon arrival at the reception of the residence.

Telephone and Internet
Rooms do not have telephones, as we have found most exchange students bring their cell phones with them. It is possible to access the Internet. Computers and cables are not provided. You will receive more information about Internet access upon arrival - in a residence handbook that will be provided to you.

Transportation
Bikuben Kollegiet is situated in Amager, close to the city centre. The residence it located in between Amagerbro and Islandsbrygge Metro Station. From there, it takes about 10-12 min to reach CBS buildings. There are several busses close to the residence that can take you around the city.
