Welcome to the CBS Housing Department
The second application round will begin on Monday, 12 December at 11:00 a.m. CET.
See dorms to be offered below.
We are the section of the International Office that helps international students find accommodation during their stay here at CBS.
This website provides information about the different housing options available and practical help on how to apply.
There are five sections: one for each type of student:
- Exchange Students: Those of you coming from one of CBS's partner universities or coming to the International Summer University (special circumstances apply for Summer Students).
- Summer University Students: Those of you coming to CBS to attend the International Summer University Program (ISUP) for six weeks in the end of June through the beginning of August.
- International Degree Students: Those of you coming to CBS to begin a full degree program.
- CBS International Fulltime MBA Students: Only International students not living in Denmark and admitted to the CBS Full Time MBA programme may apply for accommodation here.
- Freemovers: Those of you who have applied as individuals and are coming on your own - outside of an organized agreement. (Summer freemovers must apply as Summer University Students.)
In the second application round, Svanevej Kollegiet, Hammerensgade and Tordenskjoldsgade will be open for applications.
Additional dorms will be posted on this page as soon as they become available.
The Housing Department will keep you informed via this website but regrets that we cannot answer questions about specific dorm availability and application dates.
Important Information
As a result of changes in the Danish Campus Law, CBS – as from 1 January 2012 – is no longer allowed to rent rooms to students.
- As a result of this, the entire organization of housing for exchange students at CBS has been revised. Fortunately, CBS is in the process of entering long-term reservation agreements with most of the privately owned dormitories that have been available in the past. This means that CBS – as from 1 January 2012 – will facilitate room renting for the exchange students. Unlike before, the student will not sign a contract with the CBS Housing Department but will have a contract with a private landlord instead. The CBS Housing Department will continue to manage the application and placement process in its role as facilitator.
- In short, as from 2012 CBS will no longer have owners’ rights to a number of the rooms that have been at our disposal in the past. However, CBS has made the necessary provisions to ensure that adequate housing will continue to be available in the future.
