Human Resource Policy
Copenhagen Business School wants to be a desirable workplace that is able to attract and retain qualified employees at all levels - employees who make their own individual contribution to meeting CBS’ objective of being an innovative and learning, international university. In order to achieve the before-mentioned, the HR policy is used as a strategic tool. This is done by, for example:
- ensuring development and career opportunities
- creating an international work environment
- giving employees the opportunity to blend their work with their personal lives
- focusing on physical and psychological working conditions.
The HR policy reflects on three key focus areas, which are all described in the pamphlet, namely: competence development, flexibility and working environment.
Nevertheless, drawing up an HR policy is not enough. The policy only forms a framework, which is then filled in by each department through a dialogue between its management and staff. At CBS, the HR policy should be an organic part of the organisation in continuous interaction with employees.
